The "Goldener Adler" is one of Europe's oldest and time-honoured inns, established in the 14th century on the ancient road linking the North and the South of Europe, near the most important bridge across the river. The marble panel at the hotel's entrance features the list of many famous personalities that have stayed here in the past: Emperor Joseph II, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and many more... Today, the "Goldener Adler" is an elegantly-appointed and fashionable hotel featuring comfy guestrooms and suites. The Goldener Adler is a family-run hotel in Innsbruck, known for its charming hospitality and attentive staff. It still accommodates guests from the world over, and sometimes they're just as famous as those guys from the past. The hotel is situated in the pedestrian zone of the old city center. Within just a few steps away, there are many attractions including the Golden Roof, the Hofburg, the Royal Chapel and many others. The historic old town with the Golden Roof and the tower, the proximity to the Congress Innsbruck and the University Hospital and many shopping possibilities make the Goldener Adler the perfect city residence for tourists, business travelers, trade fair and conference visitors. Thanks to its central setting in the middle of the Old Town, the hotel is also a perfect base for all types of activities. The hotel offers 33 elegantly-appointed guestrooms featuring a private bathroom, phone, TV-set, safe-deposit box, minibar, cosmetic mirror, and hair dryer. Particularly our "Superior" rooms and the suites feature a spectacular view of the Old Town and the nearby mountains. Suites feature a separate living room with a sofa. Later cancellations or no-show will require charging for the 100% of the room rate.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the Old Town.

Directions
Exit Innsbruck / West, at the next crossing turn left (direction "Zentrum" - city centre). At the next crossing turn right (street name: Innrain) and drive appr. 1 km straight on. Pass Hotel Innsbruck and stop at the right, at the entrance of Old Town (hotel loading area). The hotel is situated directly in Old Town (pedestrian area) 50 steps to the right.
